Classic Mexico Tour
1st day - Mexico
Reception at the Mexico City Airport. Transfer to the Hotel.

2nd day - Mexico
Depart for the archaeological zone of Teotihuacán, located 30 miles from the city. Visit the Roadway of the Dead, the Pyramid of the Moon, the Pyramid of the Sun and the Temple of Quetzalcoatl. Return to Mexico City. Along the way, we visit the Convent of Acolman founded under the order of the Agustinians in 1539. Visit of the Basilic of Guadeloupe and the Square of the Three Cultures. At night, walk to Garibaldi Square and discover the true happiness of the Mariachis.

3rd day - Mexico
Depart for the Anthropological Museum, visit the main halls. Continue to Xochimilco. Encounter the famous Floating Gardens, which are surrounded by canals busied by the city’s people which come to recreate. Return to the city and visit the Zócalo (the main plaza), the Cathedral and National Palace.

4th. Day - Day - Mexico / Tuxtla Gutiérrez / San Cristobal de las Casas
In the morning, transfer to the airport where a plane carries us to Tuxtla Gutiérrez. Reception in the airport. Take a boat tour of Cañon del Sumidero. Continue to San Cristobal de las Casas.

5th. Day - San Cristobal de las Casas / Palenque
Tour downtown which still preserves its charm as a provincial city of colonial times with its austere but aristocratic cazones near the Zócalo and houses with red-tiled roofs. Visit the local market which is one of Mexico’s most interesting as it is populated with the indigenous Mayan race, the Tzotziles. Visit the town of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantán. Continue to Palenque. Along the way, admire the Cascadas de Agua Azul (Blue Waterfalls) located in the tropical forest of Chiapas.

6th. Day - Palenque / Campeche
In the morning, visit of the famous archaeological zone of Palenque where the temples are elevated on small hills and surrounded by exuberant tropical vegetation. The main buildings are el Templo de las Inscripciones (the Temple of the Inscriptions) and el Palacio del Gobernador (the Palace of the Governor). Continue to Campeche on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico.

7th. Day - Campeche / Uxmal / Merida
Depart destined for Merida. Along the way, visit the archaeological zone of Uxmal, one of the most extraordinary testimonies of the Mayan civilization. See the great Cuadrilátero de las Monjas (Quadrilateral of the Nuns), the Palace of the Governor and the Templo del Adivino ( Temple of the Soothsayer). Continue the journey to Merida, also know as the White City. Visit downtown.

8th. Day - Merida / Chichen Itza / Cancun
Depart for Cancun. Along the way, visit the largest archaeological zone of the Maya world, Chichen Itza. The highlights are the Temple of Kukulkan, the Ball Game Coliseum, the Cenote, the Temple of the Tigers and the Temple of the Warriors. Continue to Cancun, the most important tourist center of the country which is located on an island 20km. long and 400m. wide. With a series of lagoons on one side and the Caribbean sea on the other, it maybe the most beautiful bathing resort in the world with its aquatic wonders and beaches with coral sand so fine they resemble that of white talc.

9th. Day – Cancun
Transfer to the airport.
